I'm a 24 year old Pokémon fan that spent most of his childhood bounced around in the foster care system. The main thing that kept a smile on my face were trading card games and the cartoons/anime that they stemmed from. Pokémon (alongside Digimon & Yugioh) was one of the few things that allowed a kid with behavioral issues like myself to make friends growing up. The Pokémon page i run is also the reason I'm still around today, as I made it as a last ditch effort not to succumb to my depression. Today im doing the best that I can with the cards I've been dealt in life while also continuing to enjoy one of the franchises that shaped who I am today. 😁
